Nick Backhouse joined the Proctor Group in September 2025, bringing with him 8 years of construction industry understanding. Prior to joining the Proctor Group, Nick spent 5 years within the structural steel sector and has been involved in a wide scope of projects in the North of England. He advocates a systems-based approach to airtightness in façades — simplifying the build-up of through-wall designs and pushing forward the specification of safer, more robust solutions using technically advanced materials with proven performance, including the Proctor Group’s Wraptite self-adhesive vapour-permeable external air barrier membrane.
