Peter Senez has been active in the fire industry since 1988 and is a leader in fire-protection engineering and performance-based design in Canada, the US and internationally. He leads a team of around 50 at SenezCo across Canada, the US and France, is Chair of the National Model Code Committee on Fire and Life Safety for the 2030 code cycle, and is a sessional lecturer at the University of Waterloo.
